I’ve always enjoyed night photography and thought I knew the night sky. I was wrong. The dry atmosphere and the absence of light make the Navajo Tribal Park the most magical of places to stargaze. The luminosity of the stars and expansive space are both overwhelming and humbling. I was particularly drawn to this photograph due to the stars that can be seen above the storm clouds. This piece is printed on dye-infused aluminum.
