Hand dug clay from the Red River mixed with mussel shell. Pitfired the old way in an open ground fire. This piece is about the cultural identity of the Caddo people and how we can bring each other together with help. The hand symbols represent coming together to help each other rather than putting someone down. The center is the drum where the tribe comes together for community.
