Artwork Description:

Large fully traditional Caddo water bottle, hand coiled from hand dug clay from the Red River, mixed with mussel shell temper. Extremely thin walled and lightweight. This piece was burnished with a rock to a shine, and then pitfired the old way in an open ground fire. It was then engraved after firing with the Caddo symbols for Water and the Cycle of Life.
