Artwork Description:

This is an open segmented bowl made of 1682 pieces of the following wood: Maple - 608pc. Wenge - 589pc. Bloodwood - 380pc. and Yellow Heart - 105pc. Starting with a base of Wenge turned to a diameter of 5.75". A medallion of Yellow Heart has been inserted to accent the base. Progressing upward 35 more rows to a completed height of 7.5" and a final diameter of 15 3/8± inches. Staggering the blocks of wood and alternating the species to form the design.
