The background has Choctaw words at the top, "Vlla Tek Hlampko" which translates as Girl Power. Girl Power in English is behind her. The red diamond pattern that flows through the background is from traditional Choctaw clothing. This painting celebrates a growing number of girls playing stickball competitively.
