Artwork Description:

Tiered maxi dress printed with alternating checkerboard Sun Circles and colorful floral art. This garment was made with the idea of using only two yards of fabric for the floral print and two yards of fabric for the checkerboard print - and attempting as little waste as possible. As a result some of the tiers of this dress are “pieced” together to make the required width for the tier in order to “make it work”. Garment pattern was drafted by hand by the artist. The artist’s vector art is printed on polyester Dupioni fabric and is printed locally in Oklahoma to reduce the carbon footprint. Dress was assembled by the artist using a sewing machine. This dress is Women’s size 18.
