Artwork Description:

Deer Woman is seen to have the features of a normal beautiful woman, except her feet which are deer hooves and deep brown eyes. Men who have impure thoughts are lured into her presence often notice too late that she is not a natural woman, and are then trapped by her to waste away until death. Deer Woman is fond of dancing and will sometimes join a communal dance until someone notices her feet. Once she is recognized for what she is, she runs away.
