Covid has killed First Americans at a faster rate than any other community in the United States. Many reservations have suffered terribly during the first year of this deadly coronavirus pandemic. Almost 7,000 American Indians have died as of June of 2021. We have all lost many First American friends and this watercolor painting on canvas is a depiction of the pain this pandemic brought to my tribe and many other tribes across the US and the world.
